Infrared provides a flexible heating solution
When heating large spaces with high ceilings, like warehouses, it is often not necessary to heat the entire space. Depending on the type of work being undertaken, zone heating with industrial infrared heaters is often the most efficient and comfortable option.
Medium wave infrared energy generated by the Etherma EZ heaters travels inertly through the air, dissipating as heat upon contact with people and surfaces thus creating a comfortable, all-round radiant warmth at lower air temperature. This is ideal for full heating or spot heating or creating ‘heat islands’ around workbenches whilst the rest of the building remains unheated.
Where it is necessary to heat rooms with large amounts of space and high ceilings ETHERMA IRE infrared heaters are most suitable. These heaters can also be used in the open air, e.g. in grandstands or loading ramps.
In areas where staff are constantly on the move and/or where drafts are experienced, for example in loading bays, short wave infrared emitters like Solamagic provide a better solution.
Infrared heaters take only minutes to reach comfort temperatures, so energy is never wasted in prolonged warm-up times. If external doors are opened, allowing cold air to enter the building, radiant heating will recover comfort temperatures in just a few minutes.

Grant funding option
ERDF is offering an energy efficiency grant to help businesses save money and greenhouse gas emissions by improving the energy efficiency of their workspace.
The energy efficiency grant covers between 25% – 40% of the overall cost (capital and installation) of the project.
